- The degree of Information and Documentation as trained professionals to work in a wide range of services related to the organization of information and documentation, both in government and public institutions, and private companies. The basic training program is oriented degree understanding of the nature of the information and documents, its various modes of production and management cycles, use and transfer, as well as to the management of the methods, techniques, tools and instruments appropriate to each context. The first Information and Documentation degrees were launched in 2008-2009 in universities Carlos III of Madrid, Salamanca and Zaragoza and background were the Diploma in Library and Information Science (eighties of the last century) and the Bachelor of Documentation (nineties, respectively). In order to check in perspective the process developed-at a time when students of the first graduating graduates have already left the classroom, this work has as main objective to study how addressed in plans titration study of the specific skills of the degree called "analysis and representation of information", "organization and storage of information" and "search and retrieval of information", as set out in the White Paper the Degree in Information. The analysis considers both the complexity of the legal and educational context in which took place the process of implementation of the studies as the short time available. It addresses three distinct axes: a) The programmatic texts that formed the basis for the development of curricula-Euroreferencial of the European Council of International Associations and White Paper ANECA-titration b) The skills associated with Selected materials c) The curricular modules and subjects these materials has experienced in each of the grades of Information and Documentation implanted in different Spanish universities.
