- Cubaciencia database is described from the point of view of its features for performing searches for bibliographic information. It presented the experience of the service and reference information search that is offered through email to domestic and foreign users. It analyzed the behavior of the service in response to: users, applications by country, types of applications, thematic interests, among others. It is concluded that Cubaciencia promotes knowledge transfer, while disclosing our scientific work, promotes cooperation and encourages the inclusion of our scientists and researchers to the possibilities arising from new technologies in telecommunications, particularly the network services added value.
