- The studies about users are a recent incorporated activity in the archives. Therefore, there are many methodological and theoretical gaps regarding their implementation in the information centers. This study analyzes the importance of this applicability in historical archives. Thus, it focus its attention in the kind of users who attend to these centers, as well as, the importance of this type of studies about users in the archives, and the methodology, from the direct and indirect method.
