- The function of public administration has to do with the citizen access to the information, which is part of a constitutional mandatory. The last three Colombian governments have done big efforts to improve and facilitate the public access to the information. Nevertheless, the participation of archivists and many other information professionals in these initiatives is very poor or even inexistent, situation that has been corroborated in this research.
