  • This paper (A critique to the anti-labor trends in the sciences of information recorded in documents) presents a critique to the anti-labor trends in the sciences of information recorded in documents. It is based on the critical librarianship with a critical epistemology to analyze and criticize the ideologies of bourgeoisie of its various kinds: neo-liberalism, global capitalism, and imperialism in general (e.g. Castells, 1996; Masuda, 1981), and in particular of the bourgeoisie within the sciences of information recorded in documents (e.g. Lau Noriega, 2007a; 2007b; Gorman, 2001; Cronin, 1992; Mann, 1993; Rodríguez Gallardo, 2001; Hernández Pacheco, 2007; 2000; Uribe Tirado, 2005). It proposes some issues for debate for the followers of labor movements to demand in favor of the rights of the workers of information recorded in documents (e.g. librarians).
