- {Performance measurement of public and educational libraries - SBP project] The paper presents the results of the research delivered by the SBP appointed Team to study the performance of public and educational libraries in order to accomplish the task stated in the Development Strategy SBP 2010-2021 “Initiating the elaboration and popularisation of existing standards in the area of library science”. The issues like creating and testing the national packages of performance indicators for public and pedagogical libraries have been discussed in the paper. It also presents the results of the pilot studies in public libraries as well as the standard survey testing the level of satisfaction from using the libraries.
