- This article addresses CSS (cascading style sheet) and Xslt (extensible style sheets language: transformations) technologies, from a practical, straightforward and demonstrative perspective, rather than attempting to provide a theoretical or exhaustive study. The central idea is that the basic unit of information management again becomes the document, marked up as a digital document. Web technology is directed at an absolute control over its life-cycle, functionalities and structural elements. This article presents Xslt as one of the most interesting options for controlling digital documents’ structure through transformations.
