Daftar Isi:
- We start from the assumption that both reading and writing are cultural practices and strategies for learning and knowledge building, crucial to the student’s academic and personal education. The aim of this work is to reflect on the social and cultural contexts in which these practices are enacted and the reality of reading and writing at the university level. It briefly outlines experience on this subject gained at the Faculty of Humanities and Education at the University of Zaragoza in the 2010-2011 academic year. It is concluded that academia provides superficial practices of reading and writing rather than education truly dedicated to critical thought.
