  • The teaching methodology in the Information Science Degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) has used, since the beginning, some of the requirements of the EHEA, as it locates the student at the center of the model. Thus, diverse new parameters have been considered like, for instance, students’ dedication time or the competences to acquire, being specific or cross-sectional. It has been promoted using the teaching planning that marks the objectives to reach and the associated contents to those objectives, in the same way that the evaluation model is based on continuous evaluation, so that UOC lecturer and the student are used to work under these criteria which would have to serve to gain confidence in the process and for overcoming certain scepticisms as well
