- At the present time, where the environment is characterized by the influence of digitization and network technologies, the role of information and documentation professionals become diffuse and unstable, with new strengths and opportunities. In this context it is desirable that entrepreneurship becomes part of future graduates’ knowledge and attitudes. In the first place, the concept of entrepreneurship is examined starting from a literature review and analysing our professional sector. Afterwards it is exposed how this competence has been integrated in the proposal of the studies in Information and Documentation as a new Degree in the European Space of Higher Education of Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
