- This chapter presents a cybermetric ́s analysis between European and South American Universities. The objective is to find out the asymetry in the links generation between the different universities. It has been considered the web-link as an indicator of collaboration and partnership between universities. Two groups have been considered (European universities & South American universities). Each group has been set up with 20 universities, taken from the January 2011 Edition of the World ́s Universities Web Ranking. Links created and generated by each university have been calculated through Yahoo!. Results show a clear asymetry in the link generation. In general, South American Universities create more links than the European ones.
