- Library policy from the Austrian Library Association's point of view. Some initiatives and activities since 2006 did not really move to a sufficient political control of librarianship and library policy in Austria until now. There is no general library law existing and the legal deposit and copyright rules are not really topical to support the library's services opposite the fast technological and economic developments. In their honorary capacity neither the Association of Austrian Librarians nor Austrian BAM as a round of just occasional talks have enough political influence to be serious lobbyists.
