- This paper aims to bring the progress of the research project "The School Library: its organization and visibility to the management teams" GICIS Group Faculty of Humanities of the University of Mar del Plata. It refers to the Information Literacy (IL onwards) analyzing the state of the school libraries in public elementary Party General Pueyrredón. Information literacy is presented as an essential process in today's society, necessarily marked by the imperative to learn the knowledge and information independently and this will be analyzed and discussed.
