- This communication is intended primarily to address issues related to digital preservation, since, currently, this should be considered as one of the main concerns to be taken into account by information professionals to meet the threats generated by rapidly evolving technologies information and therefore the technological obsolescence that can occur at different levels (hardware, software, storage media, file formats). It is to this end, essential to implement appropriate policies and strategies aimed at ensuring the stability and continued access to digital information.
