- The project Designing a knowledge management system for library System of the Andes University was created to solve the needing to identified and stored critical knowledge held by the organization, and also it may be accessed on a quick and easy way. The project was made followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Among the processes that are designed to carry out the project are: identification of the assets of the Library System, for which Intelect Model was applied, then there is the development of an inventory of knowledge, then builds on the knowledge management model Nonaka and Takeuchi and is structured according to the Library System, to facilitate transformation of tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge, finally is proposed Intranet design that will help the exchange of knowledge within the organization. The project aims to harness the intangible stock which has the System Libraries in the knowledge of its staff, in order to achieve quality in all procedures, which will be carried out by officers increasingly engaged and motivated, with a system that allows them to highlight best practices and learn from mistakes made in a consistent manner. But it is recommended that the project will have regular meetings, in which explain its purpose and in turn motivate all staff, it is also important to into account, that knowledge must be updated periodically to that the organization has always critical to understanding the embodiment of different work activities, the implementation of these recommendations ensure project success.
