- The day to day working of libraries has changed drastically in recent years. Those changes have taken places because the revolutionary transformation in the IT and this impact is seen in the diminishing pattern of face to face interactions at the libraries and the more relying on intermediate ways using electronic media. New scenarios are open and librarians have to get closer to those new spaces in order to offer a service of the highest quality. The architecture of information is an instrument to achieve a better functioning of virtual libraries and that is why it is important to develop libraries along these lines in order to keep libraries abreast of the needed changes
