- Between the options for developing a search strategy, the code number or classification is by far one of the least used. This is due to the great difficulty inherent in their own classification systems. Thus, the own library automation systems do not provide a good use of these codes when developing the potential of access to information. This article seeks to show, by studying various examples of university libraries, if indeed this kind of search is disabled by the software used.
