- The aim of this study is to be a useful tool for decision making to the extent it is capable of characterizing the international collaborative production in major producing countries of Latin America. This characterization of the domain will make it easier to detect strengths and weaknesses in the establishment of international relations and their dynamics over time. It also raises specific objective of combining the usefulness of bibliometric indicators and social network analysis as a methodological strategy for identifying patterns of collaboration. Finally, generate visual representations that summarize the relationships and visibility as elements of added value for the understanding of the characteristics of the aggregates (Countries and discipline)
