- CLACSO, Latin American Social Sciences Council, has developed an open access institutional repository with the open source software Greenstone. Today, the repository has 28,000 full-texts in the Reading Room and CLACSO journal collection in Redalyc. The evaluation priorities are presented which allow assessing the extent to which the institutional repository allows: 1. Promoting open access to research results (knowledge as public good) 2. Promotion of quality in research journals (CLACSO ́s network publishes 350 journals) 3. Network of repositories and digital libraries to disseminate research results in digital format 4.
