The paper analyzes the new role of librarians in the new digital ecosystem. Libraries, like reason, are not beyond its historical context, so it has gone from a stable and unchanging knowledge of the libraries were reflected as specialists in their classification and management, a complex knowledge, conflicting and discontinuous. A knowledge that digital tools have democratized, and where society is now able to understand, discuss and to make decisions by consensus. The library will not have a monopoly on interpretation, but it must be the intermediary that promotes dissension and interpretation. The digital skills which are necessary and how libraries should be responsible for training these qualified interpreters are described.
