- The development of communication technologies, and mobile technologies in particular, give the information professional excellent opportunities to enhance current performance, provide new services in line with emerging needs, as well as the opportunity to continue to grow professionally and continuing relationship with colleagues and user communities. But technologies alone are not enough. Our personal attitudes and career decisions are those that promote, create, define and specify the changes. This article presents the results of a survey of attitudes, habits and experiences of reading devices mobile, conducted on different groups of information professionals Argentine journalists, librarians, consultants, information managers, archivists, museum specialists, intelligence analysts and information architects. It is hoped that these results are useful to supplement policies public and private institutional professional development, informational, technological and social, as well as opening new lines of research elsewhere.
