- This article analyses and describes the present outlook of trade union archives, archives that habitually have been grouped with those of the world of work or of the worker’s movement. The current situation is revealed, along with the variety of models that exist, depending on the different union and archival traditions. Finally, an analysis is made of the reality of Spanish and Catalan union archives,especially those of the CCOO and the UGT, which touches upon reconstruction, efforts to compile archival collections and the gradual professionalisation of the process, as well as an overview of the current situation.
