- The idea is to design a guide that contains conservation programs and projects, good practice and practical activities developed by institutions around the world which have documented their tasks with pictures. The objective of the work is to identify the visual deterioration of the collections or conservation problems. The guide is organized in five chapters: human, environmental, biological and disaster factors and others. Each photograph has a brief description and the sources are mentioned at the end of every section. The purpose is to help professionals in the identification of the present deterioration or potential hazards.
