- Year 2007: Libraries and Archives Service of the University of Salamanca begins the project's institutional repository university, which coordinates and maintains today. Objective: To implement an open access project, integrative and representative of the University of Salamanca. Financial support from the Ministry of Culture, for the maintenance of Repository Management System at the University of Salamanca (Gredos) annually grants have been received for maintenance. These grants have been requested and granted in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Gredos is thus defined as the open knowledge management system University of Salamanca, and is more than just a repository and that gathers and disseminates all open access scientific knowledge, heritage collection, management and production of the documentary the University. With the promotion of open access in the University of Salamanca be possible to continue developing the project Gredos in an "altruistic, efficient and transparent" way.
