- Study of the relationships between the topics of forestry research in Spain for the period 1994-2003 in ISI. We used clustering techniques and multidimensional scaling, in which the variables have been the research topics and cases, external links between subjects (co-occurrence of descriptors), the elite journal publication or elite authors. Significant linkages were obtained mismatched in all three types of grouping performed (semantic publication or authorship), except in groups: nitrogen-spain, abundance-conservation-communities and forest-regeneration-recruitment. It is noted that a complete analysis of the relationship between issues requires close joint study of semantics, publication and authorship.
