- The article addresses the need to maximize the research in the Brazilian context with the purpose of the internationalizing Brazilian research production. Usually, the results of investigations are published in scientific journals and they have restricted access to the data that are only accessible by their subscriber. This limitation prevents its dissemination, limiting therefore its visibility. Given this fact, the author advocates the need to put these results in free access.
