  • Background: The community of health administration forms a very little large group, with varied origin and education. They need specific, accurate, current and immediate information. Bring together information resources can provide them access in a timely manner. Objective: Creating and maintaining a customized space for the health management group in a virtual library (VL) Methods: Library staff searched, located, selected and ranked specific health management resources. We worked with a pilot group of users who suggested specific needs and with this information is created a draft of structure and content of the information space. Later this content was migrated to preweb and evaluated by the pilot group. Finally the IT department merged the content in the VL interface. Results: We obtained a customized space that includes a selection of books, monographs and health management journals, databases and other sources of legislation, reports and health statistics or highlight documents to full text. We also included web 2.0 information resources related to management. All this was integrated with the Virtual Reference Service of the VL. Conclusions: This space supposes: -Improve relevance and access to information for management staff. -Increase the satisfaction of the health managers with VL. -Loyalty of a group of health managers with a lot of weight in making strategic and economic decisions at the institution.
