- Documentalists in the digital editions of the press and television: new professional challenges. The digitalisation of editions and the use of the Internet have transformed the professional work and practices of journalists and documentalists. This paper is based on the results of a survey of those responsible for the documentation centres at the main newspapers and television stations in Spain. It contains an analysis of the challenges that documentalists must address, their perception of their work and the extent to which their role in the sector is changing.
