  • Over the last few years, Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) at the University of Calgary has built a suite of open access (OA)-related services. These include one of the largest institutional repositories in Canada, the first Open Access Authors Fund in Canada, a comprehensive digitization program, and OA journals and monographs in the University of Calgary Press. While these programs have been popular, there are important questions that need to be asked in terms of analysis of the LCR OA suite. How can the programs be evaluated? What constitutes success and impact? Are the programs meeting ever-changing user needs? Are the elements of the suite in line with what is happening in the OA community?
