- The copyright has undergone considerable changes due to the high development of digital technology and information networks for calls. This process generates, from our point of view, conflicts between the interests of the editors, on behalf of the rights granted by the author and readers. This dichotomy can be identified by the motivation of the forms of communication between creator and reader without the need of a mediator (editor), which leads to a new configuration in sharing works. Considering all the advancements and changes in relation to technology and the availability of information, one can not think in the application of traditional concepts of copyright without an adjustment to this new reality. With constant changes there are factors that affect the defense of the right of the editor, author and reader. However, in some instances, these rights are different and even conflicting, because of wanting to ensure that issues specific to each. In this work, taking as a parameter which we believe is the view of the reader, it is considered as an object of study is the copyright and copyleft, and the influence of the right of access to documents by the reader, to better meet your information needs. They appear as assumptions of the search because the copyright configure itself for the rights of publishers and the copyleft configures itself for the rights of free access by readers to literary, artistic, technical and scientific.
