- This paper presents the impacts on individuals by deploying a new information technology in a library of higher education, focusing on the system of integrated functions Aleph500, specifically regarding the perception of employees. For that we selected the case of Jose Storópoli Libraries, University Center Nove - Uninove. The purpose is to obtain the expression of its own employees about the impact of this situation as there is a perceived and planned by senior management of the institution, participating in an overall process of restructuring Uninove.
