- The "Semantic Web" as a whole, for the Internet, it is not a reality yet, but different projects and applications are being developed with advances in fundamental processes for the information and knowledge management in academia and science. After reviewing different classifications of case and use studies, and semantic applications, it is proposed a classification based on the value they would have for different members of a university community: students, teachers, researchers and administrators (Information Literacy).
