- The analysis of the many definitions of digital library shows theexistence of different approaches to the phenomenon. The definitions are influenced by the context or objectives of the research or service that are made. It proposes an analysis of definitions, and the reformulation of the concept of digital library, according to their evolution towards a knowledge center.
