- Describes two online resources useful for e-publishing and development of digital libraries: a) EdiTA (http://cyta.com.ar/elearn/editor_digital/) a virtual classroom about scientific publishing, with standards, links, bibliography, texts, handouts; b) the Metamap (http://mapageweb.umontreal.ca/turner/meta/accueil.html), a pedagogical graphic tool which looks like a subway map. Its aim is to help to understand metadata standards, sets, and initiatives of interest in this area. The Metamap is a visual map online. Contains acronyms and links to its official web sites. These tools helps to the digital libraries developers to study the different standards and protocols.
