- The teaching of information sources, within the carrer of Library Science, presents peculiar characteristics, which must be taken into account to improve the quality of education. Librarianship has not created an special method of teaching, but has taken some elements from the traditional didactics and other disciplines, without having modified variants. Based on professional literature, specially in Spanish, in guidelines and directives stablished by organisms which nuclate library education and the daily experience, we have ellaborated the presented five chapters, which are in constant revision and are prone to be improved with the purpose of the development of the discipline
