- The presentation describe the results of study, development in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso during 2008. It ́s about the level of knowledge of Chilean researchers on Open Access movement and open access journal its policies, quality and prestige. The study did through questionnaire using an online survey tool SurveyMonkey, and the population was 1558 scientists with FONDECYT (Fund of Governmental Agency), 56% completed the survey. The results show that Chilean scientists have medium level of knowledge of open access.
