  • The presentation deals with e-journals’ evolution. Thanks to the Web 2.0 and to the growing mass of open access content e-journals are becoming more and more interactive, multimedia, and community oriented. Differences with other scholarly documents blur. The presentation also offers a reflection on the new metrics for the quantitative research evaluation (Usage Factor) and the new challenges for the peer-review evaluation in the Web 2.0 environment.
