- The panorama of the periodic publications is analyzed in the area of the psychology in Latin America starting from an exhaustive report about the quantity and tipology of holding existent in the region with an eye toward establishing a central group of journals from the point of view of its importance and weight inside the scientific field. For it is studied it in first instance the qualification (qualis) that grant to these journals diverse scientific institutions, so much public as private. Later on intends a methodology to observe the degree of international visibility that they possess starting from the source of data Web of Science of the ISI through which the data will be extracted with an eye toward establishing a ranking of the journals more mentioned internationally and to establish a nucleus or main stream of publications in the region.
