- In this communication the concept of Web 2.0 is exposed. Starting off from the classic works in this area appears and detailing to its more representative elements and their application to the librarian landscape. Later one concentrates in the concept of Library 2.0, describing its main elements in common with the concept of Web 2.0. One analyzes the new features that contribute to the design of library services and the new social software tools are mentioned.
