- In recent years, the profile of information professionals was drawn by many authors. However, not all advanced on the link between skills, learning content and curriculum. The objective of this work is to propose a discussion of the all-encompassing training of information professionals, based in areas of skills, training plans, learning content and cast of disciplines. The study is a contribution to reflection necessary and inherent in preparation of pedagogical issues in library and information science faculties in Brazil, related to the professional performance in a sustainable society.
