- This is a practical presentation of how bibliographic description and subject analysis can be enhanced in a specific collection: The supporting library of the Granada Royal Chancery Archives. Without deviating from existing description and analysis standards, a number of improvements are put forward in order to streamline and expedite cataloguing practices without diminishing or impairing retrieval. Furthermore, an approach for the creation and assignment of subjects in a post-coordinate fashion is discussed which also has the same aim and produces similar results to those achieved with an enhanced document description.
