  • The continuing development of information technologies and communications from mid-1980s and the popularization of such networks have contributed to the creation and disseminating digital documents are increasingly being used more to raise awareness of scientific developments, provide training in all levels of education and recreation to provide documents. These objects also reproduced digital image of handwritten, printed, recorded ..., edited originally in analog form, which can be seen enriched with value added services and transcripts of texts that allow lexical studies, stylistic and comparisons with similar works. They also allow consultation by various types of users. One result of the importance of electronic documents for education, culture and research are the collections and libraries emerging digital. This has led international agencies and organizations such as UNESCO, the European Commission, the Group of Eight most developed countries, IFLA and 3WC inter alia, worry about the digital heritage in general and literature in particular promote the development projects, resolutions, guidelines and standards that seeks ultimately to its collection, description, dissemination and preservation in digital repositories for transmission to future generations by giving testimony to the cultural identity of a community. This communication is to present some projects (like NEDLIB, DigiCult, PADI, Kulturarw3, ...), Patrimonio.es resolutions (like 2002 / C 162/02 of the Council of Europe: Persist tomorrow's memory - preserving digital content for future generations, regulations legal deposit of electronic publications including online) and guidelines (Guidelines for the Preservation of digital heritage of UNESCO) that are laying the foundations for conservation electronic bibliographic heritage digital libraries organized in databases referential and documentary hosted in computer systems accessible from anywhere time through computer networks and telecommunications.
