- Head in the clouds – taggigng, folksonomies and knowledge organization systems. The subject of this paper is folksonomy – a system that aggregates user generated verbal descriptions of networked information objects. This analysis is functional. It targets metainformational, retrieval and organizational functions of folksonomy. The comparison between folksonomy and knowledge organization system is shown. This paper aims at stating several questions about ways of folksonomy’s effective adaptation in information processing on the Web.
