  • The author enquires about the development and impact of educational multimedia documentation of best practices in schools. The ten-year life of the national Italian project on educational documentation, GOLD, is analysed and, in particular, the recent developments about its multimedia language approach. The impact on teaching/learning processes is also taken into account. Examples of multimedia documentation techniques and products are also given.
