- The first third of the twentieth century is a time of major changes in university education, establishing channels for their autonomy. Between 1931-1935 the academic system of the Faculty of Arts was reorganized and transformed, being divided into four sections and a new curriculum. Among the various files which retain source documents for the study of the Faculty of Arts during the Second Republic, highlights the Archivo General de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
