- (English) This work presents an analysis carried out to different portals (or websites) of schools of library science and information science, university and public libraries of Latin America, and others digital libraries (directories of digital libraries and open source projects) representative in this area of the knowledge, in which is detected that the management of metadatas in their first band (Dempsey and Heery) sufficiently they have not been negotiated for the designers and administrators of these resources, which generates a problems for the indexation and information retrieval that carry out the search engines, as the main information locating web services that utilize the users of the entire world, besides being a problem of coherence in the information management, in the contents management, the part of the professionals and institutions that should developed with more severity the different Bands of this continuum of metadatas necessary for one more structural and semantics search and retrieval information digital. The analysis that is described, is turned out of different processes and educational and research spaces developed the last two years since the Inter-american School of Library Science of the University of Antioquia, from its Knowledge Management, Technologies of Information and Terminology research teams, and concretely, of educational practices from the "Seminar-Workshop Architecture of the information and structuring of metadatas for units of information" (http://aprendeenlinea.udea.edu.co/lms/moodle/course/view.php?id=30), "Seminar of Information Portals" (http://aprendeenlinea.udea.edu.co/lms/moodle/course/view.php?id=87) and of the advising as part of the extension university since this school of library science, to the U. of A.
