- This article presents in form summarized the results of the consultation to 624 professors of the University of Antioquia, with part of the research project "Access, knowledge and use of Internet in the University of Antioquia" carried out by a group interdisciplinary among the 2006-2007. These results are synthesized in a general characterization of the professors, the presentation of different problematic aspects with respect to the incorporation of information and communication technologies in the teaching, research, extension and administrative management that affect to all the professors; and a listing of recommendations to the instances of decision of the University, twenty-one on the whole, some of them directed directly to improve the conditions and possibilities of the professors of the U. of A. set against this subject matter.
