- The technological evolution has leaded to the hybrid library, a place where traditional and digital material co-exhist. In addition, there live together both local and remote electronic resources. The resources in a hybrid library are remote services, such as an OPAC allowing to reserve a document, to suggest desiderata, etc. This kind of library is focused on the document, shifting at the same time on service quality, communication standards, formats, ways and times of document transmission, library mission, and how all these aspects change in relation with the hybrid library.
