- The adequacy demand for new technologies and knowledge management requires that organizations have specialized services that might contribute to the informational cycle integrity. A new management model becomes necessary due to a series of factors related to foreign policy, technological development, value and use of information as a convergence instrument among functions, sectors and processes of an organization. Information gathering according to generated needs, organization, treatment, retrieval and dissemination of information is extremely important to promote knowledge production, ensure services functionality, staff’s qualification and help with decision-making processes. It was based on this that the Internal Service of Information of the Associate Municipal Secretary of Social Services was implemented.
