- In this work it is made a reflection about the importance that in the school libraries, to avoid the ignorance of people. The adequate use of school libraries can introduce children through reading and images to new worlds, different ways of thinking, different cultures, fantasies and dreams that can become a reality. Actually libraries and reading promotion help to combat people’s ignorance and to avoid they become manipulated by the caprice of other people with political or economical interests.
